EDS-405A-MM-ST adds fibre uplinks for electrical isolation and distance. It offers 3 copper ports and 2 multi-mode 100Base-FX ST ports (typical 4 km), ideal for noisy plants or long runs between cabinets. Redundancy features include Turbo Ring/Chain (< 20 ms recovery) and RSTP/STP, with ring coupling for segmented designs. Layer 2 controls cover IGMP snooping/querier, IEEE 802.1Q and port-based VLANs, 802.1p/TOS QoS, bandwidth management and port mirroring. Manage via web/CLI/Telnet/serial, and use ABC-01 to clone configs. SNMPv1/v2c/v3, RMON and syslog simplify fleet monitoring; a DIP switch speeds ring setup. The unit features an IP30 metal enclosure, DIN-rail mounting, dual 12/24/48 VDC inputs (9.6–60 VDC), protection against overload/reverse polarity and a 1 A alarm relay. Operating range is -10 to 60°C.

RMA
In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
