The EDS-510E Series are 10 Port Gigabit managed Ethernet switches engineered for mission-critical automation, ITS and process control. Each unit provides seven 10/100BaseT(X) access ports plus three combo Gigabit ports (selectable 1G RJ-45 or 1G SFP) so you can form a resilient fibre or copper Gigabit ring and still keep a spare uplink. Turbo Ring and Turbo Chain deliver sub-20 ms recovery (up to 250 switches), while RSTP/STP/MSTP ensure standards-based interoperability. For video and control multicast, V-ON™ enables millisecond-level stream recovery to keep HMI and CCTV feeds live.
Security is hardened with an IEC 62443-based feature set including IEEE 802.1X, RADIUS, TACACS+, HTTPS/SSH, SNMPv3, sticky MAC/Port Lock, NTP authentication and storm control. Deterministic performance comes from 802.1Q/port-based VLAN, QoS (802.1p/ToS/DiffServ), IGMP v1/v2/v3 snooping/GMRP, LACP trunking, bandwidth management, RMON and LLDP.
For frictionless operations, the switches support USB console and USB storage for configuration backup/restore and firmware updates, alongside web GUI, CLI, Telnet, MXconfig and MXstudio. Alarms can be raised through relay output, email/Syslog and digital inputs.
The compact IP30 metal enclosure supports DIN-rail or wall mounting, with redundant dual DC inputs (12/24/48/-48 VDC, 9.6–60 VDC operating), plus reverse polarity and over-current protection. Models are available for -10 to +60 °C or -40 to +75 °C operation, tested to EN 61000-6-2/-6-4, IEC 61850-3/IEEE 1613 (substation), EN 50121-4 (rail), NEMA TS2 (traffic), ATEX/CID2 (hazardous) and marine approvals.
With 8K MAC, 2048 IGMP groups, 1 Mbit buffer and a 5-year warranty, EDS-510E provides a secure, scalable Gigabit backbone for modern OT networks.

RMA
In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
