The EDS-G512E-4GSFP is a compact 12-port Gigabit managed switch offering 8x RJ45 copper interfaces and 4x SFP slots for fibre uplinks. It is designed for high-bandwidth industrial applications such as ITS, CCTV backhaul, and factory automation.
It supports Turbo Ring and Turbo Chain redundancy (<50 ms recovery), RSTP/STP/MSTP, and advanced Layer 2 traffic control with VLANs, QoS, IGMP snooping, and LACP. Security is based on IEC 62443 and includes IEEE 802.1X, TACACS+, RADIUS, ACLs, HTTPS, SSH, sticky MAC, and SNMPv3.
The unit is housed in an IP30-rated metal enclosure, powered by dual 12/24/48 VDC inputs, and certified to EN 50121-4, IEC 61850-3, IEEE 1613, NEMA TS2, ATEX, and maritime standards. It operates between -10 and 60°C, making it reliable for most industrial environments.

RMA
In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
