The EDS-G512E-4GSFP-T extends the functionality of the base model with wide-temperature operation, supporting -40 to 75°C for harsh environments. It features 8x Gigabit copper ports and 4x SFP fibre slots for uplinks.
Network redundancy is ensured with Turbo Ring/Chain, RSTP/STP/MSTP, while security features include IEC 62443-based controls such as IEEE 802.1X, RADIUS, TACACS+, ACLs, SNMPv3, HTTPS, and SSH. Industrial protocols, including EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, and Modbus TCP, are supported for automation networks.
Certified for railway (EN 50121-4), substation (IEC 61850-3, IEEE 1613), traffic control (NEMA TS2), hazardous locations (ATEX, Class I Div 2), and maritime approvals, the EDS-G512E-4GSFP-T provides reliable backbone switching in demanding industrial settings.

RMA
In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
