The EKI-2720G-4FI-AE is the wide-temperature variant of the EKI-2720G Series, offering 16x 10/100/1000 Mbps RJ45 ports and 4x SFP slots for Gigabit fibre expansion. It is designed to support mission-critical industrial networks where reliable high-bandwidth performance is essential.
Equipped with 20 total ports, the EKI-2720G-4FI-AE is ideal for deployment in traffic control cabinets, outdoor installations, and railway trackside environments. Its four SFP slots allow fibre-based transmission up to 110 km, ensuring flexibility in network design. Redundant dual 12–48 VDC power inputs with integrated relay output safeguard against outages, while reverse polarity and overload current protection reinforce reliability.
The compact IP30-rated enclosure supports DIN-rail installation, making it easy to integrate into control systems. System LEDs give clear visibility of power, alarm, and port status for simplified management. With certifications including NEMA TS2 and EN50121-4, the switch is approved for roadside traffic applications and rail infrastructure use.
Unlike the standard model, the EKI-2720G-4FI-AE is built for extreme environments, offering an extended wide operating temperature range from -40°C to +75°C. Combined with long MTBF and international safety approvals, this model ensures dependable service even in harsh and outdoor deployments.

In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
