The Advantech EKI-2728-CE is an unmanaged 8-port Gigabit Ethernet switch designed for reliable, high-speed data transfer in industrial automation networks. With 8x 10/100/1000 Mbps RJ45 ports, the switch provides the bandwidth needed for real-time data, video, and control applications. Jumbo frame support up to 9 KB ensures smooth handling of large packets for improved network efficiency.
Equipped with dual 12–48 VDC power inputs and an alarm relay output, the EKI-2728-D delivers fault-tolerant operation and immediate event alerts. Reverse polarity and overload current protection safeguard against power issues, making it a resilient choice for critical industrial systems.
The unit’s slim IP30 metal housing is ideal for space-constrained panels, and with flexible DIN-rail and wall-mount options, it integrates seamlessly into industrial environments. LED indicators simplify diagnostics, enabling quick verification of network status at a glance.

RMA
In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
