The EKI-5524MMI-AE is the SC-connector variant of the wide-temperature Fast Ethernet ProView switch, providing 6x ports: 4x 10/100Base-TX copper and 2x 100Base-FX multimode fibre interfaces. It supports fibre runs up to 2 km at 1310 nm wavelength.
As with other ProView models, it communicates with SCADA systems via Modbus/TCP and with IT monitoring platforms through SNMP, enabling unified management across OT and IT layers.
It includes port-based QoS for deterministic traffic, redundant 12–48 VDC dual inputs, and alarm relay output. The switch is ruggedised with EMS Level 3 immunity, IP30 housing, and DIN-rail/wall mount flexibility. Wide-temperature tolerance (-40 to 75°C) makes it suitable for outdoor and exposed installations.
Certified for IEC/EN60950, UL508, ATEX, and Class I Div.2, the EKI-5524MMI-AE offers reliable fibre-based connectivity for substations, energy networks, railway signalling, and factory automation in harsh industrial conditions.

RMA
In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
