The GENE-ADN5-A10-0001 is a 3.5 inch SubCompact board based on the Intel Processor N97, designed for embedded applications that need efficient quad-core performance, rich I/O and extended operating temperature support. With its compact 146 mm x 101.7 mm form factor, the board is well suited to industrial automation, HMI systems, compact control units, machine monitoring, edge gateways, kiosk systems and embedded networking applications.
This model uses the Intel N97 processor, offering four cores and four threads with a listed frequency of up to 3.6 GHz and 12W power profile. It supports one DDR5 4800 SODIMM socket with up to 16GB non-ECC memory, giving it a practical memory base for Windows 10, Windows 11, Ubuntu and common industrial software environments. TPM 2.0 and a 255-level watchdog timer are included to support more reliable embedded deployment.
Display support includes one HDMI 1.4 port, one VGA interface and one LVDS interface, with support for up to three simultaneous displays. HDMI supports up to 3840 x 2160 at 30Hz, while VGA and LVDS support Full HD-class output. This makes the GENE-ADN5-A10-0001 suitable for embedded systems that need display output for operator interfaces, diagnostics or local visualisation.
The board provides dual Intel 2.5GbE LAN, two USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports, four USB 2.0 ports, four COM ports, 8-bit GPIO, touch controller support and SMBus. COM1 and COM2 support RS-232/422/485, while COM3 and COM4 support RS-232, giving the board strong support for industrial serial equipment. Storage and expansion include SATA 6Gb/s, M.2 3052 B-Key, M.2 2230 E-Key and full-size mPCIe or mSATA. The M.2 B-Key and nano SIM support make it suitable for wireless or cellular-ready embedded designs.
With 9V to 36V DC input and an operating temperature range of -20°C to 70°C, the GENE-ADN5-A10-0001 is the better fit in the range for wider temperature applications that prioritise efficient processing and strong I/O connectivity.

RMA
In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
