The GENE-ADN5-A10-0002 is the higher-performance model in the GENE-ADN5 range, featuring the Intel Core i3-N305 processor. Designed for compact embedded systems that need more processing headroom than the N97 version, it is suitable for industrial control, edge computing, machine vision support, HMI platforms, automation systems, digital signage and embedded applications with heavier local workloads.

The Intel Core i3-N305 processor provides eight cores and eight threads, with a listed frequency of up to 3.8 GHz and 15W power profile. This makes the GENE-ADN5-A10-0002 a strong option where the system needs to run more demanding applications, support additional background services or process more data locally. Memory is supported through one DDR5 4800 SODIMM socket with capacity up to 16GB non-ECC, providing a compact but modern memory configuration for Windows 10, Windows 11 and Ubuntu-based systems.

For display output, the board includes HDMI, VGA and LVDS, with support for up to three simultaneous displays. HDMI 1.4 supports up to 3840 x 2160 at 30Hz, while VGA supports up to 1920 x 1080. LVDS dual-channel 18/24-bit output supports up to 1920 x 1080, with optional eDP support available depending on configuration. This makes the board suitable for control panels, embedded displays, diagnostics and visual monitoring applications.

I/O support is broad for a 3.5 inch SBC. The GENE-ADN5-A10-0002 includes two Intel 2.5GbE LAN ports, two USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports, four USB 2.0 ports, four COM ports, GPIO, SMBus or I2C, touch controller support, audio headers, SATA 6Gb/s and a SATA power connector. COM1 and COM2 support RS-232/422/485 with 5V/12V/RI options, while COM3 and COM4 support RS-232.

Expansion is provided through one M.2 3052 B-Key socket with nano SIM, one M.2 2230 E-Key socket and one full-size mPCIe or mSATA slot. With 9V to 36V DC input, TPM 2.0, watchdog timer support and 0°C to 60°C operation, the GENE-ADN5-A10-0002 is a compact embedded platform for applications requiring stronger CPU performance and rich industrial connectivity.

RMA

In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).

When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.

Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
