The ICS-G7828A Series is a high-performance Layer 3 complete Gigabit switch designed for industrial backbones combining data, voice, and video. With 24 Gigabit ports and up to 4x 10GbE uplinks, the series delivers the bandwidth needed for modern large-scale networks.
The platform supports advanced Layer 3 routing protocols (OSPF, RIP, VRRP, and static routes) and redundancy protocols, including Turbo Ring and Turbo Chain (<20 ms recovery), MSTP/RSTP/STP, and MRP. Multicast routing (DVMRP, PIM-DM/SM/SSM) and V-ON technology ensure fast recovery for video and real-time data.
Cybersecurity is integrated with access control lists, IEEE 802.1X, RADIUS, TACACS+, HTTPS, SSH, SNMPv3, sticky MAC, and port lock. Certified to EN 50121-4 and NEMA TS2, the fanless design withstands -40 to 75°C with redundant dual 110/220 VAC inputs.
Management is available via CLI, web, SNMP, MXstudio, and ABC-02 backup tools. Industrial protocol support includes EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, and Modbus TCP.
With high port density, Layer 3 routing, advanced redundancy, and industrial certifications, the ICS-G7828A is ideal for transport, utility, and process networks that require secure, large-scale backbone switching.
