The ICS-G7828A-8GSFP-4XG-HV-HV-T is a 28-port Gigabit Layer 3 switch featuring 12 copper ports, 8 SFP fibre slots, four combo ports, and 4 10GbE uplinks. This balance of copper and fibre makes it suitable for mixed backbone deployments in industrial networks.
With redundant dual 110/220 VAC power and a broad operating temperature range of -40 to 75°C, the fanless chassis withstands harsh conditions. Redundancy protocols include Turbo Ring/Chain, MSTP/RSTP/STP, and multicast recovery via V-ON.
Layer 3 features (OSPF, RIP, VRRP, static routes) and multicast routing (DVMRP, PIM) ensure efficient data handling across large-scale networks. Security includes IEEE 802.1X, ACLs, RADIUS, TACACS+, HTTPS, SSH, and SNMPv3.
Designed for resilient, fibre-rich backbones, this model is well-suited for transport, utilities, and ITS applications that require both copper edge ports and fibre aggregation.

RMA
In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
