The IMB542-Q670-SP is the single-pack orderable version of the IMB542 ATX industrial motherboard, providing a flexible LGA1700 platform for industrial PC and embedded system builds. Designed around the Intel Q670 chipset, it supports 14th, 13th and 12th Gen Intel Core i9, i7, i5 and i3 processors, as well as Pentium and Celeron processors, with support for CPU options up to 125W. This makes it suitable for applications that require desktop-class processing performance in a long-life industrial motherboard format.
This model is well suited to automation PCs, control systems, factory workstations, machine vision platforms, data acquisition systems and industrial monitoring equipment. It supports four DDR5-4400 non-ECC long-DIMM slots with total capacity up to 192GB, giving users a strong memory platform for modern operating systems and demanding industrial applications. Triple display support is provided through VGA, HDMI and DVI-D, allowing the board to drive multiple local displays for operator interfaces, diagnostics, dashboards or machine control stations.
The IMB542-Q670-SP offers a broad expansion layout that combines current PCIe support with legacy PCI. It includes two PCIe x16 slots, three open-ended PCIe Gen 4 x4 slots and two 32-bit PCI slots, allowing the board to support both new and existing add-in cards. This is valuable for industrial projects where older PCI cards may still be required alongside newer PCIe graphics, I/O, networking or capture cards. Storage support includes four SATA-600 ports with RAID 0, 1, 5 and 10, plus an M.2 Key M 2280 socket with PCIe x4 support via the chipset.
Connectivity includes two Gigabit Ethernet ports using Intel I210-AT and Intel I219-V controllers, with Wake-on-LAN and PXE support noted for the I210-AT interface. The board also includes six rear USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports, additional internal USB 3.2 and USB 2.0 headers, rear RS-232, internal RS-232, RS-232/422/485 and RS-232/485 serial interfaces, audio, PS/2 keyboard support, SMBus and 8-channel programmable digital I/O. TPM is not fitted by default, but Intel PTT is supported as standard. With smart fan control, watchdog timer support, hardware monitoring and 0°C to 60°C operation, the IMB542-Q670-SP is a strong single-pack option for expandable industrial ATX systems.

In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
