The IMB550-ARL-W880 BP is the bulk pack version of the IMB550 ATX industrial motherboard, intended for larger system builds, production projects and integrators who need the same high-performance W880 motherboard platform in bulk packaging. It supports Intel Core Ultra 9, Core Ultra 7 and Core Ultra 5 processors in an LGA1851 socket, with CPU support up to 125W. This makes it suitable for industrial PC ranges, rackmount platforms, machine vision systems, automation workstations and high-performance embedded computers.
The board is designed around the Intel W880 chipset and supports up to 192GB of DDR5-5600 memory across four 288-pin long-DIMM sockets. ECC and non-ECC unbuffered memory support gives system designers flexibility depending on whether the end application prioritises maximum compatibility, cost, or enhanced memory reliability. For storage, the IMB550-ARL-W880 BP provides two M.2 Key M 2280 sockets using PCIe x4 via the CPU with RAID 0/1 support, plus four SATA-600 ports with RAID 0/1/5/10, allowing both fast NVMe storage and larger SATA drive configurations.
Expansion support is extensive, making this model particularly valuable for industrial systems that require multiple add-in cards. It includes two PCIe x16 slots with PCIe Gen 5 support for GPU cards and five open-ended PCIe x4 slots from the chipset. This gives integrators room to add graphics, AI acceleration, capture, DAQ, motion, networking or specialist I/O cards depending on the system purpose. The datasheet also highlights an optimised CPU socket layout for rackmount airflow, which is useful when the board is installed in constrained rackmount chassis.
Rear and internal I/O includes DisplayPort++, HDMI, two 2.5GbE ports, one 1GbE port with Intel AMT and vPro support, USB 3.2 Gen 2, USB 3.2 Gen 1, USB 2.0, PS/2, audio, two RS-232 ports, two RS-232/422/485 ports, SMBus and 8-channel programmable digital I/O. TPM 2.0, watchdog timer support, hardware monitoring and smart fan control are also included. Optional IPMI 2.0 remote management through OpenBMC is available for managed deployments. With its ATX 305 x 244 mm form factor and 0°C to 60°C operating temperature range, the IMB550-ARL-W880 BP is a scalable bulk-pack option for repeat industrial system production.

In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
