The IMC-P21GA-G2 Series is a range of industrial PoE+ Gigabit Ethernet-to-fibre media converters designed to provide reliable copper-to-fibre conversion for demanding industrial networks. The series converts 10/100/1000BaseT(X) Ethernet to 100/1000Base SFP, 1000BaseSX or 1000BaseLX fibre, making it suitable for applications where Ethernet devices need to be connected over longer distances or through electrically noisy environments.
Each converter includes one 10/100/1000BaseT(X) RJ45 PoE port and one fibre interface, with model options for SFP, multi-mode SC and single-mode SC fibre. As power source equipment, the IMC-P21GA-G2 Series can directly power compatible powered devices through the Ethernet connection, reducing the need for separate power cabling. It supports IEEE 802.3af PoE and IEEE 802.3at PoE+ standards, providing up to 30W in standard PoE+ operation and up to 36W high-power output for more demanding equipment such as outdoor IP cameras, wireless access points and IP phones.
The series supports store-and-forward mode, pass-through mode, PoE diagnostics, Link Fault Pass-through and 16 KB jumbo frames, giving users useful options for network design and troubleshooting. The RJ45 interface supports auto-negotiation and auto-MDI/MDI-X, while built-in 1.5 kV magnetic isolation helps improve resilience in industrial installations.
Designed for DIN-rail mounting, the IMC-P21GA-G2 Series has a compact metal housing measuring 90 x 73 x 20.3 mm and supports redundant dual DC power inputs from 44 to 57 VDC. With overload current protection, -10°C to 60°C operation, IP40 protection with I/O modules attached, high MTBF and a 5-year warranty period listed in the datasheet, the series is a strong choice for industrial PoE fibre uplinks, surveillance systems, automation networks, transport infrastructure and remote Ethernet device connectivity.

In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
