The ioPAC 6500 Series 65M Power Modules are designed for use with modular ioPAC 6500 Intelligent Integrated Node controller systems, providing the power foundation for configurable industrial RTU and automation deployments. As part of the ioPAC 6500 platform, these modules support systems used in utilities, transport, infrastructure, remote monitoring, industrial automation and distributed control applications.
A key advantage of the 65M power module design is the separation of system power and field power. The module provides dedicated connections for system power and field power, helping isolate the controller system supply from the field-side I/O circuit supply. This is useful in industrial applications where control electronics and field wiring may need to be managed separately for reliability, serviceability and system protection.
The ioPAC 6500 Series uses a fully modular mechanical design, allowing power modules to be combined with backplane, communication, CPU, expansion, I/O and terminal block modules. This modular architecture gives system integrators flexibility when building controller configurations for different application sizes. It also helps reduce installation effort and supports future changes as site requirements evolve.
The power module supports a nominal 24 VDC input, with an acceptable range of 21.6 to 26.4 VDC. System power output is rated at 12 VDC, with up to 6.25 A output current and 75 W maximum output power. The module includes internal fuse protection, over-voltage protection, over-current protection, input-to-output isolation and system-to-field power isolation. It also supports tool-free installation and a hot-swap design to improve maintenance efficiency.
With DIN-rail mounting, optional rack mounting, conformal coating, -40°C to 75°C operation, EMC and safety certifications, shock and vibration standards, and a 5-year warranty period listed in the datasheet, the ioPAC 6500 65M Power Modules provide a robust power option for modular industrial controller systems.

In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.

Wireless Solution Saves Time and Reduces Overheads for OT Machinery Monitoring Project
Our customer was looking for ways to improve efficiency and reliability, and reduce operation costs and overheads for their manufacturing facility. The initial step in this transformation was to add additional monitoring and measurements to several areas of their facility to allow the collection of usage data from older machinery for analysis. The machinery to be analysed would be located in many areas of the complex, with some sitting in concrete outbuildings far from the source of the main network.
