The Moxa MDS-G4028-4GXS is a Layer 2 Modular Managed Ethernet Switch that includes four embedded 10Gigabit Ethernet ports, six modular expansion slots and two power slots for redundancy. The compact MDS-G4028-4GXS is designed to meet the ever-changing network requirements by ensuring hot-swappable functionality for effortless installation and maintenance by enabling you to just change or add modules without shutting the system down first. The range has five different 4-port modules to choose from including Gigabit Ethernet, Fast Ethernet, Gigabit PoE+, PoE+ and Gigabit SFP ports. 

The MDS-G4028-4GXS reliably operates in tough and hazardous environments such as power substations, mining sites, ITS, and oil and gas applications its dual power modules provide redundancy for high reliability and availability and the LV and HV power module options accommodate the power requirements of different applications. Furthermore, the MDS-G4028-4GXS features an HTML5–based, user-interface ensuring a consistent user experience across different platforms and browsers.
