The MDS-G4028-L3-4XGS is a Layer 3 modular managed switch featuring 28 ports, including 24 Gigabit ports and 4 10G SFP+ uplinks. Certified to IEC 61850-3 and IEEE 1613, it is designed for substation backbones and large industrial networks that require both switching and routing capabilities.
It supports static/dynamic routing, inter-VLAN routing, and multicast routing, enabling efficient traffic segmentation and backbone control. Expansion slots support copper, fibre, and PoE+ LM-7000H modules. Dual hot-swappable LV or HV power modules ensure redundant supply.
PRP/HSR redundancy, Turbo Ring/Chain, RSTP, MSTP, IEEE 1588 PTP, MMS/IEC 61850-90-4, and HTML5 web management provide seamless redundancy, precision timing, and SCADA integration. Operating from -10 to 60°C, the MDS-G4028-L3-4XGS is a scalable and adaptable backbone switch for critical infrastructure.

RMA
In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
