The Advantech MIC-712P-ON3A1 is the higher-memory configuration within the MIC-712P-ON edge AI system range, combining an NVIDIA Jetson Orin Nano module with 8GB LPDDR5 memory, 128GB NVMe storage and NVIDIA JetPack 6.2. It is designed for edge AI applications requiring substantial local inference capability alongside direct connectivity for cameras and other networked devices. The platform supports NVIDIA Super Mode and is specified for performance of up to 67 TOPS.
At the core of the ON3A1 is a six-core NVIDIA Arm Cortex-A78AE v8.2 64-bit CPU paired with a 1024-core NVIDIA Ampere GPU featuring 32 Tensor Cores. The 8GB of LPDDR5 memory gives this version additional capacity for larger AI models and more demanding edge workloads when compared with the 4GB configuration.
The system incorporates two standard Gigabit Ethernet ports together with six Gigabit PoE interfaces. Each PoE port can be individually controlled, while the system provides a combined PoE power budget of 150W. This allows multiple compatible cameras or network devices to be connected directly to the system without requiring separate PoE infrastructure. Four USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports provide additional peripheral connectivity, while HDMI supports display output up to 4K at 60Hz. Expansion is provided through M.2 E-key and B-key interfaces, alongside Nano SIM and optional eSIM support for wireless or cellular configurations.
A 128GB PCIe x4 NVMe SSD is pre-installed, with the system BSP supplied on the SSD using JetPack 6.2. The MIC-712P-ON3A1 also provides a Micro SD slot for additional storage options. Integrated Out-of-Band management supports remote monitoring and system administration, while an optional TPM 2.0 module can be added where additional hardware security functionality is required.
With a compact 160 x 160 x 70mm enclosure, 19 to 36VDC input and operating temperature range from -25°C to +70°C with specified airflow, the MIC-712P-ON3A1 is suitable for embedded AI, video analytics, safety, security and intelligent edge deployments where processing performance and multiple PoE-connected devices are required.

In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
