The Moxa NAT-108 is an eight-port industrial Network Address Translation device designed to simplify the connection of machinery and automation equipment to existing factory Ethernet networks. It combines comprehensive NAT functionality, routing, firewall features and network access control in an ultra-compact metal enclosure suitable for DIN-rail installation inside control cabinets.
Eight 10/100BaseT(X) RJ45 ports provide connectivity for local industrial Ethernet devices. The NAT-108 supports 1-to-1 NAT, N-to-1 NAT, port forwarding, NAT loopback and Moxa's IP Twins Mapping functionality. IP Twins Mapping is particularly useful when integrating machines that use identical internal IP addressing. Duplicate LAN addresses can be mapped to unique addresses, allowing similarly configured PLCs and other automation devices to communicate without requiring extensive changes to their existing network configuration.
Routing and NAT throughput is rated at up to 15,000 packets per second, with a maximum network speed of 100 Mbps. The NAT-108 supports up to 300 static routing rules, 30,000 concurrent connections and up to 4,500 connections per second.
The integrated Device Lockdown function provides straightforward access control for connected equipment. IP and MAC addresses can be automatically learnt or manually entered and bound to an access list. Firewall filtering can also be applied using IP addresses, MAC addresses and ports. Secure Boot provides an additional mechanism for checking system integrity.
Network management is available through HTTP/HTTPS web console access, SSH, Telnet, SNMPv1/v2c/v3, TFTP and LLDP. DHCP Server and Client functionality is also supported, together with NTP and SNTP time management. Policy enforcement events can be recorded locally or transmitted to a Syslog server.
The NAT-108 accepts nominal 12, 24 or 48 VDC power and operates across a 9.6 to 60 VDC range. Reverse polarity protection is included. Measuring 36 x 90 x 73 mm and weighing 330 g, the device is designed for space-efficient DIN-rail installation, with an optional wall-mounting kit also available.
This standard-temperature model operates from -10°C to +60°C and is suited to factory automation and industrial network installations operating within controlled cabinet environments.

In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
