The Moxa NAT-G102 is a two-port Gigabit industrial Network Address Translation device designed to simplify machine connectivity within factory automation networks. Its combination of NAT, routing, firewall and access-control functions allows existing machinery to be integrated into wider Ethernet infrastructures without requiring extensive or time-consuming changes to the machine's internal network configuration.
Two 10/100/1000BaseT(X) RJ45 ports provide Gigabit Ethernet connectivity, supporting applications where higher network throughput is required than can be provided by Fast Ethernet NAT devices. The NAT-G102 supports 1-to-1 NAT, N-to-1 NAT, port forwarding and NAT loopback, providing several options for controlling how internal devices communicate across network boundaries.
NAT, firewall and routing performance is rated at up to 80,000 packets per second and 1000 Mbps based on RFC 2544. The device supports a maximum of 120,000 concurrent connections and up to 6,000 connections per second based on RFC 3511. Static routing is also available, with support for up to 32 routing rules.
Moxa's Auto Learning Lock feature simplifies local network access control. The NAT-G102 can automatically learn the IP and MAC addresses of connected devices and bind these details to the access list. Firewall traffic can additionally be filtered by IP address, MAC address and port. Secure Boot and trust access control provide further mechanisms for protecting the device and connected industrial network.
Management is available through an HTTP or HTTPS web console as well as SSH, Telnet and TFTP. LLDP is supported for network discovery, while NTP Server/Client and SNTP provide time-management functionality. Policy enforcement events can be stored locally or transmitted to a Syslog server.
The NAT-G102 accepts nominal 12, 24 or 48 VDC power across an operating range of 9.6 to 60 VDC, with reverse polarity protection included. Its metal enclosure measures only 20 x 90 x 73 mm and weighs 240 g. DIN-rail mounting is standard, while an optional wall-mounting kit is available.
This standard-temperature model operates from -10°C to +60°C, making it suitable for factory automation installations and industrial control cabinets operating within moderate environmental conditions.

In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
