The Moxa PT-G503 Series is an IEC 61850-3 and IEEE 1613 compliant redundancy box designed for mission-critical power substation and process automation networks. Supporting IEC 62439-3 Clause 4 PRP (Parallel Redundancy Protocol) and Clause 5 HSR (High-availability Seamless Redundancy), these RedBoxes guarantee zero recovery time network redundancy, ensuring uninterrupted communications for SCADA and protection systems. With three Gigabit combo ports (10/100/1000BaseT(X) or 100/1000BaseSFP), the PT-G503 integrates seamlessly into modern Ethernet-based grid architectures. One INTERLINK port enables connection with singly attached nodes (SAN), while the LAN A and LAN B ports handle PRP/HSR traffic.
The PT-G503 Series also supports advanced functions, such as PRP/HSR Coupling and QuadBox, for linking redundant LANs or connecting HSR rings, providing operators with greater flexibility in designing fault-tolerant topologies. Built-in IEEE 1588v2 Precision Time Protocol in transparent clock mode provides sub-microsecond synchronisation for time-sensitive applications, such as synchrophasor measurement or protection relays. A built-in MMS server based on IEC 61850-90-4 enables smooth integration with power SCADA systems, while Fibre Check diagnostics simplify fibre status monitoring.
Engineered for extreme environments, the PT-G503 Series offers -40 to 85°C operation, IP40 aluminium housing, and redundant isolated power input options (24/48 VDC or 110/220 VDC/VAC). Comprehensive cybersecurity features, including HTTPS/SSH, RADIUS, and TACACS+, safeguard against unauthorised access. Combined with support for Modbus TCP and SNMPv3, the PT-G503 delivers visibility, reliability, and protection demanded by modern substation automation and industrial control networks.

In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
