Meet the RKP-C220 Series: rugged, fanless 2U rackmount computers built for demanding industrial workloads at the edge. Powered by 13th Gen Intel Core processors (up to 24 cores/32 threads) with the Intel Q670E chipset, the platform delivers workstation-class compute in a thermally efficient chassis designed for harsh sites, from control rooms to plant floors. Key options include a PCIe Gen4 x16 slot for full-length RTX-class GPUs up to 200 W for AI acceleration, plus additional x8 and x1 slots for fieldbus, vision and storage cards (see the front-panel layouts on pages 2–3).
Connectivity is a highlight. Depending on the model, you can specify up to eight Gigabit/2.5 GbE ports, up to ten software-selectable RS-232/422/485 ports, and two CAN ports for motion and mobile assets—alongside 4 DI and 4 DO for simple signalling (pages 4–5). All I/O sits on one face for clean cabling in shallow racks, while TPM 2.0 helps harden deployments (page 1). For storage, two lockable 2.5-inch bays and three M.2 M-key NVMe sockets allow fast, flexible arrays with Intel RST RAID 0/1 (pages 1 and 4). An optional fan module supports external graphics-ready operation, and the whole system is rated for -30 to 60°C operation without a discrete GPU (page 6).
Video outputs include HDMI 2.0b and DisplayPort 1.2; there are three external USB 3.0 ports for peripherals (page 5). Windows 10 IoT LTSC 2021, Windows 11 (IoT LTSC and Pro), Windows Server 2022, and leading Linux distributions (Debian, Ubuntu LTS, RHEL) are supported to streamline image management (page 4).
Use cases span SCADA and historian consolidation, OT data gateways, machine vision with GPU inference, railway and traffic back-ends, and multi-port serial modernisation—especially where high LAN/serial/CAN density and long-life availability are essential. RMA
In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
