The RKS-G4028-4GS-2HV-T maximises availability for fibre-rich backbones with dual isolated 110/220 VDC/VAC power inputs and four fixed 1G SFP uplinks. Three modular bays let you mix copper, SFP, and FX interfaces to scale toward 28 Gigabit ports as your topology grows or segments consolidate. The result is a future-proof chassis that adapts from aggregation to dense distribution without redesign.
Built for substations and harsh sites, the switch meets IEC 61850-3 and IEEE 1613 with robust EMC immunity, fanless IP30 construction, and a -40 to 75°C operating envelope. Hardware 1588v2 PTP enables precise synchronisation for protection and measurement. Turbo Ring/Chain provides <20 ms convergence at scale, while STP/RSTP/MSTP, LACP, Loop Protection, and Dual-Homing/Ring Coupling enable layered, resilient designs.
Security and compliance follow IEC 62443-aligned development: secure boot chain, 802.1X, RADIUS/TACACS+, SSH/HTTPS, ACLs, sticky MAC, MAB, and policy controls. Deterministic delivery is preserved with eight hardware queues, VLAN/GVRP, QoS/DSCP, and IGMP Snooping/Querier for multicast containment.
Operations are simplified with web/CLI management, SNMPv1/v2c/v3 with traps/informs, RMON, LLDP, Syslog, SFTP/TFTP, relay alarms, and optional ABC-02/03 tools for rapid configuration and firmware handling.

In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
