The tBOX210-RLS-MR is the two-SATA version of the tBOX210 rail-grade fanless embedded system, designed for onboard intelligent surveillance and transportation applications that need robust computing, secure camera connectivity and reliable wide-range DC power input. Based on the Intel Q670E chipset, it supports LGA1700 14th, 13th and 12th Gen Intel Core i9, i7, i5 and i3 processors, as well as Celeron options, with CPU TDP support up to 35W. This gives system builders a flexible processing platform for rail NVR, passenger monitoring, onboard analytics and transport edge computing.
This model provides two internal swappable 2.5 inch 15 mm SATA drive bays, with two SATA interfaces and Intel RAID 0/1 support. This makes the tBOX210-RLS-MR suitable for applications that need dependable onboard storage but do not require the higher drive capacity of the four-SATA model. An M.2 Key M 2280 NVMe slot is occupied for OS storage, helping separate the operating system from video or application data storage.
Connectivity is one of the key advantages of this system. The front of the unit includes four M12 X-coded 2.5GbE LAN ports, designed for secure, high-bandwidth camera connections in rolling stock environments. A rear RJ45 2.5GbE LAN port provides additional network connectivity, while two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports, HDMI output, isolated 6-in/2-out DIO and a remote switch support local integration. Wireless expansion is supported through M.2 Key B 3052, full-size mini PCIe, M.2 Key E, two Nano SIM slots and five antenna openings.
The tBOX210-RLS-MR supports 24V to 110V DC railway input through an M12 connector and includes smart ignition for intelligent power management. It is housed in aluminium extrusion and heavy-duty steel and uses a wall-mount design. The 2 SATA SKU measures 300.6 x 182.4 x 81 mm with wall mount and weighs 4.2 kg net. With -40°C to 70°C operation using wide temperature peripherals, EN 50155, EN 45545-2, NFPA 130, LVD, CE and FCC Class A certification, the tBOX210-RLS-MR is a strong choice for compact rail surveillance systems that need rugged storage and M12 camera networking.

In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.

Our customer was looking for ways to improve efficiency and reliability, and reduce operation costs and overheads for their manufacturing facility. The initial step in this transformation was to add additional monitoring and measurements to several areas of their facility to allow the collection of usage data from older machinery for analysis. The machinery to be analysed would be located in many areas of the complex, with some sitting in concrete outbuildings far from the source of the main network.
