The tBOX210-RLS-MR2 is the four-SATA version of the tBOX210 rail-grade fanless embedded system, designed for onboard intelligent surveillance applications that require higher local storage capacity. Built around the Intel Q670E chipset, the system supports LGA1700 14th, 13th and 12th Gen Intel Core i9, i7, i5 and i3 processors, as well as Celeron options, with CPU TDP support up to 35W. This makes it a strong fit for rolling stock NVR systems, multi-camera recording, onboard video analytics, passenger safety monitoring and transport edge computing.
The main difference between the tBOX210-RLS-MR2 and the two-drive model is storage capacity. This version includes four internal swappable 2.5 inch 15 mm SATA drive bays with four SATA interfaces and Intel RAID 0, 1, 5 and 10 support. This makes it more suitable for surveillance systems that need larger storage pools, data redundancy or longer video retention periods. The system also includes an M.2 Key M 2280 NVMe slot occupied for OS storage, helping keep the operating system separate from high-capacity data storage.
For camera and network connectivity, the tBOX210-RLS-MR2 provides four front-facing M12 X-coded 2.5GbE LAN ports for secure, high-bandwidth onboard camera connections. A rear RJ45 2.5GbE LAN port adds further network flexibility. The system also includes two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports, HDMI 1.4b display output, isolated 6-in/2-out DIO, a remote switch, five antenna openings and two Nano SIM slots. Expansion options include M.2 Key B 3052 for 5G or LTE, full-size mini PCIe for LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth or GPS, and M.2 Key E for Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth.
The tBOX210-RLS-MR2 supports 24V to 110V DC input through an M12 A-coded connector, making it suitable for different train power systems. Smart ignition, over-current, over-voltage, under-voltage and reverse polarity protection help support stable vehicle operation. The 4 SATA SKU measures 300.6 x 182.4 x 101 mm with wall mount and weighs 4.3 kg net. With fanless construction, IP30 rating, -40°C to 70°C operation with wide temperature peripherals, EN 50155, EN 45545-2, NFPA 130, LVD, CE and FCC Class A certification, the tBOX210-RLS-MR2 is the best fit in the range for storage-heavy rail surveillance and onboard video recording applications.

In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
