The TN-4528A-16PoE-4GPoE-WV-CT-T is a conformal-coated managed Ethernet switch designed for railway applications, offering EN 50155 compliance alongside high PoE density and Gigabit uplink capacity. With 24x Fast Ethernet M12 ports (16x PoE) and 4x Gigabit PoE uplinks, it provides a resilient backbone for rolling stock communications.
PoE ports deliver up to 30 W each (IEEE 802.3af/at), with a total of 120 W available to power onboard devices such as cameras, wireless APs, and passenger information systems. The conformal coating protects against dust, moisture, and corrosive gases, ensuring reliability in aggressive environments.
Certified to EN 50155 mandatory standards, including temperature, vibration, surge, insulation, and ESD, the TN-4528A-16PoE-4GPoE-WV-CT-T is rail-ready. Dual isolated 24–110 VDC inputs provide redundant power resilience, and operation from -40 to 75°C ensures performance under extreme climatic conditions.
Turbo Ring/Chain (recovery time < 20 ms) and RSTP/MSTP provide a resilient network design. Security functions such as IEEE 802.1X, TACACS+, SSH, and HTTPS protect against unauthorised access, while management is enabled through SNMPv1/v2c/v3, web, CLI, and Telnet. VLANs, QoS, IGMP snooping, Ethernet/IP, and Modbus TCP support advanced traffic control.
The TN-4528A-16PoE-4GPoE-WV-CT-T combines high-density PoE support, Gigabit uplinks, and conformal coating with EN 50155 rail compliance, making it an ideal switch for harsh and vibration-prone railway environments.

In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
