The TN-4908-8GTX-WV-CT-T is the full Gigabit model in the TN-4908 family. It provides eight M12 Gigabit ports for maximum throughput and reliable train-to-train or train-to-ground communication. With bypass relay functionality, critical traffic continues to flow even if the unit is powered down or fails.
This model is designed for applications where high bandwidth is essential, such as onboard CCTV with many IP cameras, passenger Wi-Fi, and data-rich condition monitoring systems. Networking features include VLANs, QoS, Turbo Ring, RSTP and VRRP to maintain availability and traffic quality across the train backbone.
Like all TN-4908 units, it operates fanlessly from −40 °C to 70 °C and accepts dual isolated 24–110 V DC inputs. The rugged IP40 chassis and conformal coating ensure long-term performance under shock, vibration and temperature extremes.

RMA
In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
