The TN-5508A-8PoE-WV-T is the wide-temperature model of the PoE series, engineered for applications exposed to severe environmental conditions. It delivers 8x Fast Ethernet M12 ports with PoE, each port supplying up to 30 W with a total budget of 120 W. This makes it ideal for powering PTZ cameras, access points, and onboard systems directly from the switch.
Designed with dual isolated 24–110 VDC power inputs, the switch ensures redundancy and resilience. The IP54-rated enclosure, M12 connectors, and EN 50155/EN 50121-4 certifications guarantee reliable service against shock, vibration, dust, and EMI. Operating across -40 to 75°C, it meets EN 45545-2 fire protection standards for rolling stock.
Resiliency features include Turbo Ring and Turbo Chain redundancy (<20 ms recovery at 250 nodes), as well as standards-based RSTP and MSTP. Security is embedded with IEEE 802.1X, TACACS+, RADIUS, SNMPv3, SSH, HTTPS, and ACLs. Traffic handling functions include VLANs, QoS, IGMP snooping, and LACP link aggregation.
Compact and rugged, the TN-5508A-8PoE-WV-T is purpose-built for railway and transport operators seeking secure, reliable networking with integrated PoE in extreme climates.

In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
