The TN-5508A-8PoE-WV-CT-T is the conformal-coated variant of the PoE model, providing extra PCB protection in corrosive or high-humidity environments. It offers 8x PoE Fast Ethernet M12 ports, supporting 30 W per port and a total power budget of 120 W for powering IP cameras, Wi-Fi APs, and other onboard devices.
Dual 24–110 VDC inputs with isolation provide redundant supply resilience. The IP54 enclosure, featuring vibration-proof M12 connectors, ensures reliable service in challenging railway environments. With an operating temperature range of -40 to 75°C and compliance with EN 50155, EN 50121-4, IEC 61373, and EN 45545-2, the unit meets the shock, vibration, and fire safety requirements.
Network redundancy is ensured through Turbo Ring and Turbo Chain (<20 ms recovery time), as well as standards-based RSTP/MSTP. Security functions include IEEE 802.1X, HTTPS, SSH, TACACS+, RADIUS, and SNMPv3. Traffic optimisation includes VLANs, quality of service, IGMP snooping, and link aggregation.
With its conformal coating and robust PoE design, the TN-5508A-8PoE-WV-CT-T is ideal for railway deployments where high reliability and environmental resilience are mandatory.

In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
