The TN-5510A-8PoE-2GTX-WV-CT-T is a conformal-coated managed PoE switch featuring 8 Fast Ethernet M12 PoE ports (each with 30 W of power, totalling 240 W) and 2 Gigabit copper uplinks. It is designed for rail deployments that require robust connectivity and PCB protection in high-humidity or corrosive environments.
Conformal coating enhances resilience against moisture and airborne contaminants. Dual 24–110 VDC redundant inputs ensure uninterrupted service. With rugged IP54 housing, M12 connectors, and -40 to 75°C operation, the switch withstands harsh rolling stock conditions.
Resiliency features include Turbo Ring and Turbo Chain (<20 ms recovery), as well as RSTP/MSTP. Cybersecurity is built in with IEEE 802.1X, RADIUS, TACACS+, HTTPS, SSH, ACLs, and SNMPv3. VLANs, QoS, IGMP snooping, and LACP provide efficient traffic handling.
Certified to EN 50155, EN 50121-4, IEC 60571, IEC 61373, and EN 45545-2, the TN-5510A-8PoE-2GTX-WV-CT-T is designed for powering IP surveillance, passenger information systems, and Wi-Fi access points in railway environments that experience high environmental stress.

RMA
In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
