The TN-5510A-8PoE-2GTXBP-WV-CT-T is a conformal-coated managed switch with integrated PoE and bypass relay functionality, designed for resilient railway networks. It provides 8x PoE Fast Ethernet ports (30 W per port, 240 W total budget) and 2x Gigabit copper uplinks with bypass relays that maintain link connectivity even during power loss.
Conformal coating enhances PCB protection against humidity, dust, and corrosive exposure, extending long-term reliability. The unit supports dual 24–110 VDC isolated power inputs and operates over a temperature range of -40 to 75°C. Its IP54 enclosure with vibration-proof M12 connectors ensures reliable service in rolling stock environments.
Resiliency features include Turbo Ring and Turbo Chain (<20 ms recovery) alongside RSTP/MSTP. Security functions include IEEE 802.1X, RADIUS, TACACS+, ACLs, SNMPv3, SSH, and HTTPS. VLANs, QoS, IGMP snooping, and LACP provide predictable traffic management.
Certified to EN 50155, EN 50121-4, IEC 60571, IEC 61373, and EN 45545-2 for fire safety, the TN-5510A-8PoE-2GTXBP-WV-CT-T is suited for onboard and wayside railway deployments that require resilient PoE networking with bypass protection and enhanced environmental durability.

In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
