The TN-5516A-WV-T is the wide-temperature version of the TN-5516A, providing 16x Fast Ethernet M12 D-coded ports for secure railway networking. Designed to operate from -40 to 75°C, the switch delivers reliable performance in harsh onboard and outdoor environments.
It supports dual redundant 24–110 VDC isolated inputs for resilient power delivery. Housed in a rugged IP54 enclosure with vibration-proof M12 connectors, it withstands shock, vibration, dust, and EMI. Certified to EN 50155, EN 50121-4, IEC 60571, IEC 61373, and EN 45545-2, the unit is fully compliant with railway safety and reliability standards.
Network redundancy is ensured through Turbo Ring and Turbo Chain (<20 ms recovery) and standards-based RSTP/MSTP. Cybersecurity is built in, featuring IEEE 802.1X, HTTPS, SSH, SNMPv3, RADIUS, TACACS+, and ACLs. VLANs, QoS, IGMP snooping, and LACP further optimise traffic control, while industrial protocol support enables easy integration into signalling and control networks.
The TN-5516A-WV-T is ideal for rolling stock applications where dependable Ethernet connectivity, secure management, and wide-temperature resilience are essential.

RMA
In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
