The TN-5516A-WV-CT-T is the conformal-coated variant of the TN-5516A, designed for railway networks requiring additional protection in high-humidity or corrosive environments. It features 16x Fast Ethernet M12 ports for resilient onboard and wayside connectivity.
With conformal coating applied to the PCB, the switch resists condensation, moisture, and airborne contaminants, extending operational lifetime in challenging climates. It supports dual isolated 24–110 VDC power inputs and operates reliably across -40 to 75°C. The IP54-rated housing with vibration-proof M12 connectors ensures robustness against shock, vibration, and dust.
Resiliency features include Turbo Ring and Turbo Chain with sub-20 ms recovery across large networks, alongside RSTP/MSTP for standards compliance. Security features include IEEE 802.1X, RADIUS, TACACS+, HTTPS, SSH, ACLs, and SNMPv3. Advanced traffic tools include VLANs, QoS, IGMP snooping, and LACP link aggregation.
Certified to EN 50155, EN 50121-4, IEC 60571, IEC 61373, and EN 45545-2 fire safety, the TN-5516A-WV-CT-T is an ideal choice for rolling stock operators requiring secure, redundant, and environmentally hardened Fast Ethernet connectivity.

In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
