The TSN-G5016-4GS-SoMD-LV-T is the Gigabit SFP model in the TSN-G5016 Series, providing 16 managed Ethernet ports for industrial networks that need TSN capability, fibre expansion and rugged reliability. It includes 12 10/100/1000BaseT(X) RJ45 ports and four 1000BaseSFP slots, making it suitable for applications where fibre links are required for distance, electrical isolation or network segmentation, but 10GbE uplinks are not necessary.
This model is designed for industrial automation, control networks, infrastructure systems, production environments, remote cabinets and distributed Ethernet applications where predictable communication and resilient operation matter. It supports Time-sensitive Networking technology, including hardware-based IEEE 1588v2 PTP, IEEE 802.1AS time synchronisation and IEEE 802.1Qbv time-aware shaper. These functions help the switch support deterministic Ethernet behaviour and bounded low-latency communication across suitable TSN network designs.
The TSN-G5016-4GS-SoMD-LV-T also includes core managed switch features such as IEEE 802.1Q VLAN tagging, IEEE 802.1p class of service, STP and RSTP. It supports up to 256 VLANs, a VLAN ID range from 1 to 4094, a 9K MAC table and an 8 Mbit packet buffer. Management features include web-based configuration, IPv4/IPv6, LLDP, SNMPv1/v2c/v3, DHCP server/client, Syslog, port mirroring, SFTP, HTTPS, SSH and private MIB support.
Security features include broadcast storm protection, trust access control, login and password policy, HTTPS/SSL, SSH, SNMPv3, RADIUS and TACACS+. These functions help support safer administration and reduce exposure to unauthorised access or disruptive traffic events.
The switch includes one RS-232 console port, one alarm contact relay output and one digital input. Power is supplied via two removable 4-contact terminal blocks, with 12V to 48V DC redundant dual inputs and an operating voltage range of 9.6V to 60V DC. Overload current and reverse polarity protection are supported. With an IP40 metal housing, DIN-rail mounting, optional wall mounting, -40°C to 70°C operation, 809,568-hour MTBF and a 5-year warranty period listed in the datasheet, the TSN-G5016-4GS-SoMD-LV-T is a robust Gigabit fibre TSN switch for industrial networks. SFP modules are sold separately.

In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
