The Moxa TWS-3010-APL Series is a compact managed Ethernet APL switch designed to bring reliable Ethernet connectivity to process industries and field-level automation networks. Built around 10BASE-T1L technology, the series enables power and data transmission over a single twisted pair cable, helping reduce wiring complexity while extending Ethernet communication to field devices across longer distances.
The switch features 8x 10BASE-T1L Ethernet APL spur ports and 2x Gigabit combo ports, providing a practical balance between field-level device connectivity and high-speed uplink flexibility. Each Ethernet APL spur port supports APL power classes A and C, allowing compatible field devices to receive both communication and power through the same connection. This makes the TWS-3010-APL Series well suited to process automation environments where simplified cabling, robust network availability and easier cabinet installation are key requirements.
For industrial network resilience, the series supports redundancy protocols including RSTP, STP and MRP, helping maintain high availability in critical applications. Industrial protocol support includes EtherNet/IP, PROFINET and Modbus TCP, allowing straightforward integration into existing automation systems. The rotary DIP switch also enables profile-based configuration selection without requiring access through a web browser, helping simplify setup and commissioning.
With a compact metal housing, DIN-rail mounting, dual redundant 24/48V DC power inputs and a wide -40°C to +75°C operating temperature range, the TWS-3010-APL Series is built for demanding industrial environments. In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
