The V2406C Series embedded computers are built around an Intel Core i7/i5/i3 or Intel Celeron high-performance processor and come with up to 32GB RAM, one mSATA slot, and two hot-swappable HDD/SSDs for storage expansion.
The V2406C is compliant with EN 50155:2017 and EN 50121-4 standards covering operating temperature, power input voltage, surge, ESD, and vibration, making them suitable for railway onboard and wayside applications. Furthermore, V2406C computers are equipped with a rich set of interfaces, including 2x Gigabit Ethernet ports, 4x RS-232/422/485 serial ports, 6x DIs, 2x DOs, and 4x USB 3.0 ports. Additionally, the V2406C computers offer 1 VGA video output and 1 HDMI output, both supporting 4K resolution.
Impulse can supply the V2406C rail PC fully configured with your choice of storage, memory and embedded operating system. In addition, we can supply a whole host of EN50155 certified networking and communication devices to supplement the V2406C in rail applications, including Ethernet switches, wireless access points and serial device servers.

RMA
In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.

Wireless Solution Saves Time and Reduces Overheads for OT Machinery Monitoring Project
Our customer was looking for ways to improve efficiency and reliability, and reduce operation costs and overheads for their manufacturing facility. The initial step in this transformation was to add additional monitoring and measurements to several areas of their facility to allow the collection of usage data from older machinery for analysis. The machinery to be analysed would be located in many areas of the complex, with some sitting in concrete outbuildings far from the source of the main network.
