The Moxa EDS-308 Series provides robust unmanaged Ethernet switching with eight ports and a wide range of fibre options. Models include copper-only, copper with one or two fibre ports, and SC/ST multi-mode or single-mode variants with distances up to 80 km. This flexibility makes the series suitable for both local fan-out and long-haul backbone connections in industrial networks.
Each unit is housed in a rugged IP30-rated metal enclosure with DIN-rail or optional wall mounting. A built-in relay output warns of power failures or port-break events, enabling faster responses in critical infrastructure. Broadcast storm protection is DIP-switch configurable to help stabilise networks under heavy load.
Redundant dual 12/24/48 VDC power inputs (9.6–60 VDC range), with overload and reverse polarity protection, ensure reliable uptime. The series is certified for hazardous locations (ATEX, Class I Div. 2), maritime (DNV-GL), and transport standards, and is tested for vibration, shock, and EMC performance. Every model undergoes 100% burn-in testing to guarantee dependable long-term service.
Operating ranges include Wide -10°C to +60°C models and Extended wide -40°C to +75°C (-T) versions, ensuring deployment flexibility in sheltered and exposed sites alike. With a 5-year warranty and proven MTBF, the EDS-308 Series is a dependable choice for automation, utilities, transport, and marine networks.

RMA
In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
