The EDS-205A-T provides the same five 10/100 RJ45 copper ports as the standard model, but with the added resilience of a -40°C to +75°C wide operating temperature range. This makes it ideal for deployment in outdoor cabinets, roadside enclosures, and transport or energy systems where wide temperature fluctuations are common.
The switch is housed in a rugged IP30 aluminium casing and certified for use in hazardous locations (Class I Div. 2, ATEX Zone 2), as well as rail, highway, and maritime environments. Its compact DIN-rail form factor and low power requirements make installation straightforward even in space-constrained or remote installations.
To protect network stability, the EDS-205A-T features broadcast storm protection enabled via DIP switches. Redundant dual 12/24/48 VDC power inputs, overload current protection, and reverse polarity safeguards ensure resilience against power faults and fluctuations.
Like all EDS-205A models, the -T version has been subjected to a 100% burn-in test and designed with high EMI/EMC immunity to guarantee reliable operation in electrically noisy environments. With a long MTBF and a 5-year warranty, the EDS-205A-T is built for uninterrupted, long-term service in critical field applications.

RMA
In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
