The EDS-510A-3GT combines Fast Ethernet access with triple-Gigabit copper uplinks, ideal for cabinet aggregation where fibre is not required. It offers seven 10/100 RJ-45 ports for field devices and three 10/100/1000 RJ-45 for ring/uplink roles, enabling resilient Gigabit backbones without SFP modules. Redundancy is delivered via Turbo Ring/Turbo Chain (<20 ms) plus STP/RSTP/MSTP for standards-based failover.
Deterministic performance is enabled through VLAN, QoS, IGMP snooping/GMRP, LACP port trunking, bandwidth control, and RMON. Integration is straightforward with EtherNet/IP and Modbus TCP, while SNMPv1/v2c/v3, syslog, and MXstudio simplify fleet management. Security features include 802.1X, HTTPS/SSH, RADIUS, TACACS+, and Lock Port to limit unauthorised device changes.
The unit features dual 24 VDC inputs (12–45 VDC) with reverse polarity and over-current protection, plus 2x DI and alarm relay for event notification. The compact IP30 metal chassis supports DIN-rail or wall mounting, and operates from -10 to +60 °C, tested to IEC shock, vibration, and freefall. Certifications include ATEX/Class I Div 2, EN 50121-4, and NEMA TS2.
With an 8K MAC table, 256 IGMP groups, 1 Mbit buffer, and 4 priority queues, the EDS-510A-3GT is a robust choice for copper-only Gigabit rings and uplinks in industrial automation, ITS cabinets, and process skids.

In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
