The EDS-510A-3GT-T is the wide-temperature version of the triple-Gigabit copper model, built for harsh outdoor and transport environments. It provides seven 10/100 RJ-45 access ports and three 10/100/1000 RJ-45 uplink/ring ports to create resilient copper-based Gigabit backbones.
High availability is ensured by Turbo Ring/Turbo Chain redundancy with <20 ms recovery, complemented by STP/RSTP/MSTP. Traffic engineering tools include VLAN, QoS (802.1p/1Q, ToS/DiffServ), IGMP snooping/GMRP, LACP, bandwidth management, RMON, and LLDP. The switch supports EtherNet/IP and Modbus TCP, with SNMPv1/v2c/v3, syslog, and MXstudio for visualised operations.
Security is comprehensive: 802.1X, HTTPS/SSH, RADIUS, TACACS+, and Lock Port. Hardware resilience includes dual 24 VDC inputs (12–45 VDC), reverse polarity and over-current protection, 2x DI, and alarm relay. The IP30 steel enclosure mounts on DIN-rail or wall, and is rated for -40 to +75 °C operation. Certifications include ATEX/Class I Div 2, EN 50121-4, and NEMA TS2.
With 8K MAC, 256 IGMP groups, and 4 priority queues, the EDS-510A-3GT-T delivers secure, deterministic Gigabit performance where copper is preferred and temperature extremes are the norm.

In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
