The Advantech EKI-2728 Series provides reliable and cost-effective Gigabit Ethernet connectivity for industrial automation, transportation, and utility applications. Designed for fast data throughput and stable operation, these unmanaged switches feature 8x 10/100/1000 Mbps RJ45 ports with auto MDI/MDI-X, ensuring seamless integration into both new and existing networks.
Supporting jumbo frames up to 9 KB, the EKI-2728 Series delivers the bandwidth required for high-performance industrial applications, including machine vision, data logging, and control system backbones. Each unit is equipped with dual redundant 12–48 VDC power inputs and an alarm relay output for event notifications, ensuring network uptime and improved fault tolerance. Built-in protection against reverse polarity and overload current further enhances operational reliability.
The rugged slimline IP30 metal enclosure makes these switches ideal for confined industrial spaces, while DIN-rail and wall-mount options provide flexible installation. LED indicators on each port simplify monitoring and troubleshooting, allowing engineers to quickly verify link, speed, and activity status.
The EKI-2728 operates in a standard temperature range of 0°C to +60°C, while the EKI-2728I wide-temperature model extends support down to -40°C and up to +75°C for deployment in harsh outdoor and factory environments.
With a long MTBF rating and compliance with CE, FCC, and IEC industrial standards, the EKI-2728 Series ensures dependable, high-speed Ethernet networking in demanding conditions.

RMA
In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
