The EKI-5524MMI is a rugged 6-port Fast Ethernet ProView switch, designed for use in converged process control and IT network environments. It provides 4x 10/100Base-TX copper ports and 2x 100Base-FX multimode fibre interfaces (SC or ST connectors, depending on model), enabling cost-effective long-distance links up to 2 km.
As part of Advantech’s ProView series, the switch supports dual management interfaces: Modbus/TCP for SCADA integration and SNMP for IT network monitoring. This dual-protocol support bridges the gap between operations and IT, allowing complete visibility and control.
The unit features port-based QoS for deterministic data transmission, EMS Level 3 protection against ESD, EFT, and surge, as well as redundant dual 12–48 VDC power inputs with a relay output. With an IP30 metal housing, DIN-rail or wall mounting, and an MTBF of over 140,000 hours, the EKI-5524MMI is designed for industrial reliability.
Certified to IEC/EN 60950, UL 508, ATEX, and Class I, Division 2, the switch is suitable for hazardous locations and demanding industrial environments. Wide-temperature operation from -40 to 75°C ensures dependable performance in outdoor substations, energy networks, transport systems, and factory automation.

RMA
In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
