The GENE-ADN5 is a 3.5 inch SubCompact board designed for embedded and industrial applications that need low-power Intel Processor N-series performance, broad I/O support and flexible expansion in a compact footprint. Measuring 146 mm x 101.7 mm, the board is suitable for space-constrained systems such as industrial controllers, machine interfaces, kiosk systems, automation equipment, edge gateways, digital signage players and embedded monitoring platforms.
The board supports Intel Processor N97 and Intel Core i3-N305 processor options, giving system builders a choice between efficient quad-core performance and higher eight-core processing capability. Memory support is provided through one DDR5 4800 SODIMM socket, supporting up to 16GB non-ECC memory. This gives the platform enough memory capacity for Windows, Linux, industrial software, communication services and embedded control applications.
Display support is flexible for a compact board. The GENE-ADN5 provides HDMI 1.4 with up to 3840 x 2160 at 30Hz, VGA up to 1920 x 1080, and LVDS dual-channel 18/24-bit support up to 1920 x 1080. eDP support is also available as an option, with up to three simultaneous displays supported. This makes the board suitable for HMI panels, display terminals, monitoring systems and embedded applications requiring local visual output.
Connectivity includes dual Intel 2.5GbE LAN, two USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports, four USB 2.0 ports, four serial ports, 8-bit GPIO, SMBus or I2C, touch controller support, audio headers, SATA 6Gb/s and a SATA power connector. Expansion is provided through full-size mPCIe or mSATA, M.2 3052 B-Key with nano SIM, and M.2 2230 E-Key for wireless connectivity. With TPM 2.0, watchdog timer support, 9V to 36V DC input and Windows 10, Windows 11 and Ubuntu support, the GENE-ADN5 is a versatile compact SBC for industrial embedded designs.

RMA
In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
