The AAEON GENE-TWL5-A10-0001 is a compact 3.5-inch single board computer built around the Intel Processor N150, making it a strong option for embedded applications that need dependable everyday performance, modern connectivity and a flexible industrial I/O set in a small footprint. With its 4-core, 4-thread processor running at up to 3.6 GHz and a low 6W CPU profile, this model is especially well suited to designs where efficient operation and controlled thermal behaviour are just as important as compute capability. That makes it an appealing choice for industrial control panels, embedded gateways, light automation systems, signage controllers and compact operator interfaces.
Although this is the entry model in the range, it still carries the same well-rounded platform design as the rest of the GENE-TWL5 family. It supports up to 16GB of DDR5 memory, provides dual 2.5GbE LAN, and offers HDMI, VGA and LVDS display support, giving designers scope to support both newer and more traditional display environments. Internally, there is further flexibility through SATA, full-size mPCIe or mSATA, M.2 3052 B-Key and M.2 2230 E-Key expansion, as well as nano SIM support for communications-focused builds. Four COM ports are also available, with COM1 and COM2 supporting RS-232, RS-422 and RS-485, helping the board integrate more easily into industrial and machine-level systems.
The GENE-TWL5-A10-0001 also benefits from TPM 2.0, GPIO, SMBus or I2C, touch controller support, smart fan control and a wide 9–36V DC power input, all of which make it easier to incorporate into robust embedded designs. With support for Windows 10, Windows 11 and Ubuntu, plus an operating temperature range of -20 to 70°C, this model offers an efficient and highly practical embedded computing platform for deployments that need balanced performance without over-specifying the CPU.

In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
