The AAEON GENE-TWL5-A10-0002 is the higher-performance version of the GENE-TWL5 platform, using the Intel Core 3 N355 to deliver more processing headroom for demanding embedded and industrial workloads. With an 8-core, 8-thread processor running at up to 3.9 GHz and a 15W design point, this model is the right fit for applications that need stronger multi-core capability while still benefiting from the compact 3.5-inch form factor. For system builders working on more advanced HMI, machine control, edge gateway, inspection, data handling or multi-display embedded systems, it offers a more capable CPU option without changing the underlying board layout.
This SKU keeps all of the core strengths of the wider GENE-TWL5 family. It supports up to 16GB of DDR5 4800 memory, dual Intel 2.5GbE, USB 3.2 Gen 2 connectivity, SATA storage and a flexible expansion set that includes full-size mPCIe or mSATA, M.2 3052 B-Key and M.2 2230 E-Key. The display mix of HDMI, VGA and LVDS makes it useful in environments where a blend of legacy and current display interfaces is still needed, while support for up to three simultaneous displays gives additional flexibility for visual control systems and operator-facing applications. Four COM ports, GPIO, SMBus or I2C, touch support and nano SIM capability further strengthen its suitability for embedded integration.
The GENE-TWL5-A10-0002 also brings the practical industrial features expected of this platform, including a wide 9–36V DC input range, TPM 2.0 security, watchdog timer support and operating temperatures from -20 to 70°C. AAEON also lists Windows 10, Windows 11 and Ubuntu support, making deployment easier across a wide range of software environments. For users who want the same compact board design as the N150 model but with more processing performance for heavier embedded workloads, this version is the stronger choice.

In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
