The Axiomtek IMB711 is an IEC 60601-1 ready, medical-grade ATX motherboard designed for high-performance computing applications based on 5th and 4th Generation Intel Xeon Scalable processors. Built around the LGA4677 socket and Intel C741 chipset, the board supports processors with thermal design power ratings of up to 270W, making it suitable for compute-intensive systems that require server-class processing capability, high-speed PCI Express expansion and robust remote management. Its ATX form factor provides a flexible foundation for integration into medical, industrial, imaging and other specialist computing platforms where long-term reliability and extensive expansion are important.
System memory is provided through eight 288-pin DDR5-5200 ECC RDIMM sockets, allowing the platform to take advantage of error-correcting memory for applications where data integrity and system stability are critical. Storage expansion includes an M.2 Key M 2280 interface with PCIe x4 connectivity, while the board also provides six SATA-600 interfaces supporting RAID 0, 1, 5 and 10. This combination enables system designers to incorporate both high-speed NVMe storage and conventional SATA devices according to application requirements.
Expansion is a major strength of the IMB711. Three PCIe x16 slots operate with PCIe Gen5 x16 links, while a fourth PCIe x16 slot operates with a Gen5 x8 link. A further M.2 Key M slot supports PCIe Gen4 x4, and two MCIO connectors provide PCIe Gen5 x8 connectivity. Axiomtek states support for up to four PCIe x16 double-slot expansion cards, making the board particularly well suited to systems requiring GPUs, accelerators, frame grabbers or other high-bandwidth expansion hardware.
Networking includes two 10GbE RJ-45 ports using the Intel X550-AT2 controller, together with a dedicated Gigabit Ethernet IPMI management port. The IMB711 also supports IPMI 2.0, redundant BIOS and BMC functionality, TPM 2.0 and hardware monitoring for CPU, system and PCIe card temperatures and voltages. Additional connectivity includes VGA, USB 3.2 Gen1, USB 2.0, internal RS-232 headers, programmable digital I/O, SMBus, PMBus and IPMB headers.
Measuring 305 x 244mm, the IMB711 follows the standard ATX form factor and is specified for operation from 0°C to +40°C, dependent on the selected cooling solution. With PCIe Gen5 expansion, dual 10GbE, ECC DDR5, NVMe support and server-grade management features, the IMB711 provides a strong platform for high-performance medical and industrial computing systems.

Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
