Axiomtek

The Axiomtek IMB711 Single Pack, part number E38F711101, is a medical-grade ATX motherboard designed around the LGA4677 socket for 5th and 4th Generation Intel Xeon Scalable processors. This version is supplied in individual single-pack packaging, making it suited to system builders, integrators and specialist projects where motherboards are purchased and handled as individual units. The underlying board specification is the same IMB711 platform, combining the Intel C741 chipset with extensive PCIe Gen5 expansion, ECC DDR5 memory support, high-speed networking and remote management capabilities.

The motherboard supports Intel Xeon Scalable processors with power ratings up to 270W and incorporates eight DDR5-5200 ECC RDIMM sockets. Error-correcting memory makes the platform particularly applicable to systems where reliability and data integrity are important, including medical imaging, diagnostic systems, industrial computing and other professional workloads. An M.2 Key M 2280 interface provides PCIe x4 storage support, while six SATA-600 interfaces support RAID 0, 1, 5 and 10 for configurations requiring multiple storage devices or redundant arrays.

For high-bandwidth expansion, the IMB711 provides three PCIe x16 slots with PCIe Gen5 x16 links and a fourth PCIe x16 slot with a Gen5 x8 link. Axiomtek also provides two MCIO interfaces delivering PCIe Gen5 x8 connectivity and an additional M.2 Key M 2280 slot with PCIe Gen4 x4. The platform is designed to support up to four double-slot PCIe x16 expansion cards, providing considerable flexibility for GPU acceleration, specialist medical cards, data acquisition hardware and other demanding peripheral requirements.

Integrated networking consists of two 10GbE RJ-45 ports based on Intel X550-AT2 together with a dedicated Gigabit Ethernet connection for IPMI management. The board supports IPMI 2.0, TPM 2.0, redundant BIOS and BMC functions, helping improve remote administration, security and serviceability. Hardware monitoring can track CPU, system and PCIe card temperatures and voltages while supporting intelligent fan control.

Additional connectivity includes VGA, four USB 3.2 Gen1 ports, two USB 2.0 connections, two internal RS-232 headers, programmable 8-channel digital I/O, SMBus, PMBus and IPMB. The 305 x 244mm ATX board is specified for operation from 0°C to +40°C depending on the cooling solution.
