The ioPAC 6500 Series 65M CPU Modules are designed for modular ioPAC 6500 Intelligent Integrated Node controller systems, providing the processing, programming and control layer for industrial RTU and automation deployments. Built for applications that require a combination of control, communication, computing, connectivity, cloud integration and cybersecurity, the CPU modules help form the core of an ioPAC 6500 system used in utilities, transport, infrastructure, remote monitoring, industrial automation and distributed control applications.
The platform is based on an Arm Cortex-A53 quad-core 1.6 GHz CPU and runs Moxa Industrial Linux 3, based on Debian 11 with kernel 5.10. It includes 4GB DDR4 SDRAM, 512KB MRAM for logging and preinstalled 8GB eMMC storage, with 4GB reserved for user applications. This gives the module a practical foundation for local control logic, data processing, communications and edge applications within an industrial controller environment.
A key benefit of the ioPAC 6500 CPU module range is IEC 61131-3 automation programming support. The datasheet highlights support for the five IEC 61131-3 languages: LD, FBD, SFC, IL and ST. This allows automation professionals to work in familiar programming environments while reducing development complexity and supporting consistency across control projects. IINxpress IDE brings programming, configuration and protocol services together, helping streamline workflow and reduce programming effort.
The CPU modules also support two Gigabit Ethernet MACs with RJ45 connectivity and built-in 1.5 kV magnetic isolation, plus two DB9 serial ports supporting RS-232/422/485. Security features include Secure Boot, password-cracking defence, intrusion detection and DoS defence. With tool-free installation, hot-swap support, conformal coating, DIN-rail or optional rack mounting, -40°C to 75°C operation and a 5-year warranty period listed in the datasheet, the ioPAC 6500 65M CPU Modules provide a robust controller core for modular industrial IIN systems.

In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
