The Advantec MIC-712P-ON is a compact edge AI system built around the NVIDIA Jetson Orin Nano platform for applications that require local AI processing, camera connectivity and remote system management. Advantech positions the system for mobile equipment used within safety and security applications, combining a small 160 x 160 x 70mm enclosure with NVIDIA accelerated computing and integrated PoE connectivity. The platform supports NVIDIA Super Mode with performance of up to 67 TOPS, providing the processing capability required for AI inference, computer vision and intelligent edge workloads.
Depending on configuration, the MIC-712P-ON is available with 4GB or 8GB of LPDDR5 memory. The 8GB version uses a 1024-core NVIDIA Ampere GPU with 32 Tensor Cores, while the 4GB version uses a 512-core Ampere GPU with 16 Tensor Cores. Both configurations use a six-core NVIDIA Arm Cortex-A78AE 64-bit processor.
For network and camera connectivity, the system provides two Gigabit Ethernet interfaces alongside six additional Gigabit PoE ports. The PoE interfaces can be individually controlled and provide a combined power budget of up to 150W, making the platform well suited to multi-camera and distributed sensing applications. Additional connectivity includes four USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports, HDMI supporting resolutions up to 3840 x 2160 at 60Hz, Micro USB interfaces for debug and OTG functionality, and M.2 expansion for wireless or cellular connectivity. A Nano SIM slot is fitted, with optional eSIM support also listed.
Storage is provided through an M.2 2280 PCIe x4 interface, with a 128GB NVMe SSD supplied as standard, alongside a Micro SD slot. The MIC-712P-ON also integrates Out-of-Band management and supports an optional TPM 2.0 module. Its 19 to 36VDC input and -25°C to +70°C operating temperature range help support deployment in demanding embedded environments.

In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
