The Moxa NAT-108 Series is a compact industrial Network Address Translation device designed to simplify the integration of machines and automation equipment into existing Ethernet networks. Featuring eight 10/100BaseT(X) RJ45 ports, the NAT-108 provides NAT, routing, access control and firewall functionality in a rugged DIN-rail-mountable unit designed for installation within industrial control cabinets.
A key feature of the NAT-108 Series is Moxa's IP Twins Mapping functionality. This allows duplicate IP addresses used by machines or devices on separate local networks to be remapped to unique addresses on the wider network. For factories deploying multiple machines with identical internal IP configurations, this can reduce the need to manually reconfigure PLCs, controllers and other connected equipment before integrating them into the plant network.
The NAT-108 supports 1-to-1 NAT, N-to-1 NAT, port forwarding and NAT loopback alongside IP Twins Mapping. NAT and routing throughput is rated at up to 15,000 packets per second, with support for up to 30,000 concurrent connections, 4,500 new connections per second and a maximum of 300 static routing rules.
Device Lockdown provides additional access control by learning or manually registering the IP and MAC addresses of locally connected devices and binding them to an access list. Firewall filtering can be applied by IP address, MAC address and port, while Secure Boot helps verify system integrity during start-up.
Management options include HTTP/HTTPS web console access, SSH, Telnet, TFTP, SNMPv1/v2c/v3, LLDP and DHCP Server/Client. Event information can be stored locally or forwarded to a Syslog server.
The NAT-108 Series operates from a 12/24/48 VDC nominal supply, with a 9.6 to 60 VDC operating range and reverse polarity protection. Its metal housing measures just 36 x 90 x 73 mm, making it suitable for space-constrained cabinets. Standard and wide-temperature versions are available for environments ranging from factory automation systems to more demanding industrial installations.

In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
